What can 'first step' offer you?

We offer 1 hour face-to-face counselling sessions on a weekly basis, initially on a 6 month contract.

You will betreated with respect and you will not be judged in any way.

Our councillors are Diploma trained and adhere to BACP guidelines.

We can also offer one to one support sessions, also on a weekly basis, prior to or instead of counselling, where and when needed.

Our 24 hour answerphone has a call back option.

Confidentiality

'first step' workers use a very strict code of confidentiality. All our work is undertaken using supervision from professionally qualified supervisors who are very experienced in working with survivors.
